Pictures of Eczema in Babies
Posted by Rose in Eczema Pictures on March 19, 2011
I personally think eczema in babies is the worst. They don’t understand what’s going on, so it makes them miserable. And then if it gets itchy, they can’t help but scratch it. Fortunately, my son’s didn’t seem to itch very much, plus it was covered by clothing so it was hard for him to scratch. But I’ve seen babies that have it much, much worse.
This baby’s eczema is suspected to be caused by food allergies. You can read the article about food allergies and eczema here.

Whenever I had an outbreak of eczema, the fold of the elbow was where it would start. It would appear as a white, raised circle that turned red. For me, treating with Eucerin helped a lot.
Photo from InnerChild. She also has a good post on which products she tried and what actually worked for her here.
Here’s a picture of the rash on the inner arm.
Mine would actually get a lot brighter red than that. This photo is from KidsHealth.
Pictures of Eczema on Fingers

The fingers are actually a very common place to get eczema. Since you tend to do cleaning, wash dishes, wash your hands, ect…your fingers are more exposed to chemicals, irritants, and allergens than other parts of your body. Eczema on the fingers can look like splitting or cracking of the skin, red bumps, or even really dry fingertips. Here are a few pictures of eczema on fingers I found on the Net..
This picture shows eczema blisters. It’s from an article on Dyshidrotic eczema on Medscape
If you look at the fingers in this one, you can see the cracking, dry skin. This picture is from Flickr.
